Amiral de Beychevelle is a blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Franc, made with the same strict attention to detail as the Grand Vin, but more approachable in its youth. In the glass, the wine sits a striking deep ruby color. Amiral de Beychevelle is wonderfully aromatic, resplendent with notes of red cassis, blackberries and spice. On the palate, the wine is pure and vibrant with astonishing freshness and refinement to compliment the soft and voluptuous texture. This is ready to drink now, but will age gracefully for another 10 years.
