Argiano

The Argiolas family has been making wine in southern Sardinia
since the late 1930s. They've always had a passion for quality. It's that spirit that brought the world the formidable Turriga, which is arguably Sardinia's greatest red. A blend of mostly cannonau with carignano, bovale sardo and malvasia nera, Turriga shows simul- taneous strength and elegance. Cannonau is almost identical to grenache, so think Southern Rhone when you drink the winery's flagship Turriga if you're not familiar with it, but also notice the handcrafted qualities that make it so unique.
