As you arrive at Brane-Cantenac, there is no doubt of our purpose. The low backdrop of buildings, traditional but functional, are barely visible behind the vines growing atop Brane's prized gravel-covered plateau. The modest chateau at the centre is a family home. Brane's vision, driven by Henri Lurton, is to act with conviction and without compromise. Nothing is for show; nothing is a distraction. Everything serves a single objective: to make the greatest wine possible from what we consider to be one of Bordeaux's finest terroirs.
