Chateau Labegorce

Along the famous Route des Châteaux, this elegant neoclassical château extends over an area of two hundred and fifty hectares, of which nearly seventy are under vines.

Adjacent to the Châteaux Margaux and Lascombes, this property is mentioned in the 1868 edition of Édouard Féret which relates since 1332 the existence of "the lands of the house of Noble de La Bégorce". The château is presented as being "... one of the most beautiful and best located in the commune of Margaux".

Since its acquisition in 1989, the Perrodo family has been able to restore to this property all its architectural splendor and a wine-growing dynamism which gives birth to a charming wine in Labégorce with a very beautiful structure, with a bright fruit and great finesse.

The Perrodo family also acquired Château Marquis d'Alesme, Third Grand Cru Classé of Margaux, in 2006, again wishing to raise this vintage to the status of the jewels of the appellation.
