Domaine de la Motte

Located less than 2 hours from Paris, in the Yonne region, in the heart of the unique Chablis terroir, Domaine de la Motte cultivates several hectares of Petit Chablis, Chablis 1er cru, and Bourgogne Pinot Noir.

The Domaine de la Motte is also the story of the Michaut family. Since 1960, three generations of winegrowers have successfully produced Chablis wines that express the magnificent symbiosis of the terroirs – Kimmeridgian and Portlandian – and the Chardonnay grape.

Today, Adrien Michaut is at the helm of the Domaine, which now has 53 hectares of vines.
He works with rigour and passion, and is constantly seeking to awaken the senses and make wines that express the spirit of the Domaine: pure, dynamic and authentic.
