In 1828, George Wyndham – one of the founding fathers of the Australian wine industry – established his winery on the banks of the Hunter River in New South Wales.
This pioneer was the first to plant a Shiraz vineyard in Australia. Today the generous, full-flavoured wine bearing his name is one of Australia’s best-known brands, exported to countries around the world.
The brand has been part of Pernod Ricard since 1990.
