Product details
Vinification
Grapes were sourced from the Hawke’s Bay region of New Zealand’s North Island. The grapes were harvested at optimum maturity, with excellent flavour, sugar and acid profiles. The berries were evenly coloured, with a typical shade of light grey, and flecked with red and pink.
Upon harvesting, all fruit was crushed, destemmed, and direct pressed with no skin contact. Cool fermentation was carried out exclusively in stainless steel tanks, using yeast selected for its ability to accentuate both aromatics and mouthfeel. The final blend was fined and filtered prior to bottling.
