Product Description
Pale straw in colour with a tinge of green. Fresh and zesty aromas of guava, passion fruit pith, pineapple and mango. The palate shows layers of fresh lemongrass and papaya flavours. Fine, crunchy acidity helps to focus the taste buds on the finish which is persistent and utterly delicious when paired with Sainte-Maure de Touraine (an un-pasteurised goats milk cheese, rolled in wood ash from France) or you could try it with mushroom and barley risotto.

Product details

Wyndham Hill Smith found Oxford Landing in 1958 on the banks of the River Murray, South Australia. The winery has matured into one of Australia's most innovative viticultural estates, delivering flavours that reflects the unique vineyard terroir. Oxford Landing vineyard near the South Australian town of Waikerie is an idyllic place, distinguished by clear blue skies, rich red soil and sunshine the perfect environment for growing grapes. The grapes are from select fruit parcels on the Oxford Landing block. Warm fermentation allows the best extraction of fruit flavours and tannins for this style of wine. This is a bright and friendly wine that is also very affordable...light to medium bodied, with vibrant raspberry fruit flavours, nice, fresh acidity and soft tannins.." Toni Paterson MW, December 2007.
