Baron Philippe de Rothschild Mouton Cadet Reserve Graves Rouge
A deep, dark ruby with attractive highlights, has a refined, nicely open nose that reveals aromas of morello cherry, vine peach and violet mingled with the flinty, mineral notes typical of the appellation. Substantial on the palate, it has good body and a very gentle tannic structure, its elegant and stylish tannins perfectly enfolded in a wash of flavour characterised by juicy fresh fruit, nectarine and a touch of liquorice. The expansive, rich and well-balanced finish displays fine length and considerable character.

Mouton Cadet is the flagship of the branded wines produced by Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.A. In 1996, a red wine with greater ageing potential was added, Reserve Mouton Cadet Médoc. Again, it was an immediate success, encouraging the creation of a partner white wine: Reserve Mouton Cadet Graves, launched worldwide in 1999. The Reserve Mouton Cadet range numbers five wines representing five prestigious Bordeaux appellations: Reserve Mouton Cadet Médoc, Reserve Mouton Cadet Saint-Émilion, Reserve Mouton Cadet Graves Rouge, Reserve Mouton Cadet Graves Blanc and Reserve Mouton Cadet Sauternes.
