Bellavista  Vittorio Moretti Extra dry

“As years go, 2006 can best be described with just one word: surprising. A sequence of unforeseen events gave us a pleasant surprise. It happened in spring, the most remarkable spring ever with cool temperatures in April and May which made us consider delaying the harvest. This forecast was completely overturned at the end of June when the weather changed abruptly and the rain died down before disappearing completely in July, with temperatures rising as high as 38°C and the vines really being put to the test. Then suddenly everything changed once more : the first rains of the August breathed new life back into the vegetation and, as if by magic, the foliage sprung back to work and the grapes swelled until ripe. Nature then completed its work in the low temperatures and light of the days and evenings shortly before the harvest, which added the finishing touch to fruits so impeccable it is possibly the finest we have ever picked."
