Herencia
Tradition, innovation, and passion: this is Herencia, the icon Carmenère that summarizes Santa Carolina’s over 135 year history. A true expression of the Peumo terroir’s typicity, this wine combines the soul of two of Chile’s best Carmenère valleys.
This icon wine is a result of team work, with the participation of over 150 people led by Santa Carolina’s Winemaking Manager, Andrés Caballero. The 2007, 2008 and 2009 vintages reflect our winery’s Chilean Heritage.
This exceptional Carmenère from Peumo, in the Cachapoal Valley, is a deep, dark red with a mature bouquet. It is an elegant wine for very special occasions. Herencia has an ageing potential of at least ten years.
