Product details
The Amarone of Valpolicella Proemio di Santi is born in vineyards located in the municipalities of San Pietro di Cariano, Marano and Fumane, in the province of Verona.
It is produced at 50% with Corvina grapes, 30% with Corvinone grapes and 20% with Rondinella grapes, harvested only by hand towards the end of September. The fermentation takes place at controlled temperature for 5 weeks. Then the wine is aged in barriques for about 24 months, and for a further 12 months in the bottle.
