Product details
This wine is the result of a noteworthy vintage, thanks to the particularly favorable climatic conditions. Following a first, rigorous selection of the grapes in the vineyard, the harvest takes place by hand during the month of October. Only the best bunches are placed in small boxes and then on traditional racks inside large and airy fruit-stands, where they remain to dry for about 4 months. During this process a series of biochemical transformations take place that allow the achievement of the ideal degree of drying of the grapes. Following a further selection of the grapes, the crushing-destemming begins, followed by maceration and alcoholic fermentation that will allow to reach the right structure and alcohol content. Then begins a long period of aging of the wine for about six years in small and medium-sized barrels. Finally, bottle aging follows for at least six months.
