A fifth generation family owned and operated wine business, Angove Family Winemakers is dedicated to producing single vineyard wines from the iconic McLaren Vale region, as well as other premium vineyards across South Australia. The Angove family cellar door is located at the organically farmed Warboys Vineyard property on Chalk Hill Road.
TASTING NOTES
Angove Long Row Cabernet Sauvignon is a full bodied red wine owing its rich and intense flavours to premium grapes obtained from Angove family’s vineyards and other top growers in South Australia. It displays a deep red colour highlighted by some purple tinges. This dry red exudes complex aromas of savoury red peppers and berries, coupled with light hints of oak. The capsicum family characters are replicated over the rich palate, and are complemented by juicy berry flavours and savoury notes. Neat tannins beautifully balance the mouth filling palate, culminating the drink in a soft, oaky and clean finish.
