This is a phenomenal, tiny-production red made mostly from colorino and canaiolo grapes. It has an amazing density and richness but remains bright and velvety in texture. It has such intense flavours of dark cherry and spice, with hints of chocolate. Very long finish. It's just about ready to drink now. Superb.

Vinification :
Fermentation takes place in open top barriques of 225 liters with 6-8 manual punch-downs per day. The wine is aged in french barriques for 21 months followed by 12 months in the bottle.
