Georgiana is a fresh, vibrant expression of Margaret River Sauvignon Blanc. Every effort is utilised in the vineyard and the winery to promote the clean aromatics and punchy citrus characters of this variety. Georgiana is distinctively textural on the palate, with bright and refreshing acidity providing balance to create the perfect summer white.

The Vineyard
The majority of the fruit came from thecooler southern half of the region, includingour Crossroads and Chapman vineyards.The typical soils of these vineyards aregeologically ancient, free draining sandyloams with a high percentage of lateriticgravel.
THE SEASON
After a sunny and mild September 2014,Margaret River experienced a cool springall the way to the years-end. 2015 broughtthe driest January on record, on par with2008 and concluded with some hot daysin the mid 30’s during the last week. Thenights remained cool through summer,favouring delicate floral and white fruitflavours especially in the Chardonnays andSauvignons. The 2015 Sauvignons showintense varietal characters and honeysucklenotes; the Semillons have beautiful weightand texture: 2015 was certainly a very goodwhite vintage in Margaret River!
WINEMAKING
When harvesting Sauvignon Blanc theemphasis is placed on capturing vibrantfresh flavours with crisp acidity. Fruit ispicked at night to take advantage of thecooler temperatures. Fermentation takesplace in stainless steel tanks with grapesolids adjusted in each parcel to bring outthe best texture in the wine. The wine wasbottled in June 2015.
