Deep, red colour. The nose presents overtones of Kirsch, stone fruits, toast, cashew nuts, spices. Frank attack, tannic and in harmony with the nose. Hints of dark chocolate. Fresh and minty finish. Great length. It can be enjoyed now but can also be kept for several years. (2011)

Winemaker's Notes
Over nearly 300 years, Gruaud Larose has produced some iconic wines made of finesse when young and of elegance after a long aging and always with an underlying powerful structure. In that sense, every vintage reminds us that Gruaud is the soil, the tannins and the terroir, and Larose is poetry, aromas and bouquet.
