Chateau La Fleur Saint Emilion Grand Cru 2011
Description:
Through the years, Château La Fleur Picon has been building its reputation in Saint Emilion Grand Cru appellation, thanks to a passionate and studious work.
The aging in barrels, always fastidious and patient (50 to 60% of the volume, depending on the vintages) gives an important balance and a spicy touch necessary to make a great wine.
Ageing Potential: 7-10 Years
Tasting Note:
The cabernet grape provides great structure and framework for the wine allowing it to be laid down for a period of time while maintaining its complexity during the aging process. Merlot gives wonderful roundness and charm, and the Cabernet Franc, which comes from the estates oldest parcel of vines, adds complexity, finesse and character. These three grape varieties are the distinctive signs of this delicious wine.
