History :
Chartreuse of the XVIII th. Century surrounded by vineyards planted in the center of the gravellous plateau of Saint Estèphe, the Château Laffitte Carcasset is producing wine since 1790 when Sir Joseph Laffitte, attorney of the King of France, brought the domain and created the vineyard. In 1955, the viscount Pierre de Padirac purchased the property. Since then the vineyard has expanded and many technical improvements have been brought for a good breeding of the wine.
