Lovely colour with cherry tints. The bouquet offers up fresh red fruits (strawberry, ripe raspberry) followed by smoked and spicy hints. On the palate, the impact is soft and full with red fruits and Morello cherries which give way to a vanilla and liquorice finish. The tannins are nicely mellowed, a sign of a well-managed ageing process. Good strength for an easy drinking wine.
