Crane Lake Cabernet Sauvignon

It took two weeks and two different tastings to finally write this post. This wine is surprisingly respectable because I bought it for only four dollars. This Cab has higher tannins, more weight, and more caramelized flavors than Cupcake Cabernet Sauvignon. Where the Cupcake lacks in richness; Crane Lake offers a more creamy texture.

Tasting Notes.

Aroma: Olive Oil, Hint of Cinnamon

Notes: Tart Raspberry, Ripening Cherries

Crane Lake Cabernet Sauvignon This wine is Rich color with notes of blackberry, cherry, raspberry and vanilla. Tannins are soft and layered. This wine pairs well with aged cheddar and gouda cheeses. Also try it with leg of lamb, rib eye steak or pastain a marinara sauce.
