Rare to find an inexpensive Pinot Noir from Old World that has both fragrant delicacy and enough fruit to pass muster with some light food.The palate is elegant and textured with smooth,sappy red cherry fruit. A pure,lighter style red wine with no harsh edges. So drinkable. This is excellent value.

Winery Information
Bernard Julien and his team are one of the best vignerons in the region.His vineyards are situated a few miles north of Bezieres in the Herault, Domaine de Mus is a significant and rather grand edifice, built in 1848 on an ancient defensive site overlooking the river Orb. We believe Domaine de Mus makes some of the most transparent wines in the south of France.
Testing Nose
A great example of the more elegant and perfumed style of the domaine, it reveals a ruby color to go with perfumed notes of strawberries, garrigue, sweet cherries and spice. It has good length, no hard edges and a forward, charming style ideal for drinking over the coming 6-7 years.
