Fugue De Nenin "Le 2nd Vin De Chateau Nenin"

The year 2020 began with a lot of difficulties, with a wet and mild winter's exit, followed by a capricious spring that could not tolerate approximation. Although rain and temperatures initiated a historic precociousness, water reserves were sufficient to get through the long summer season without the vines suffering, and the grapes ripened in splendid weather. Warm days and cool nights alternated until the grapes were carefully harvested to ensure homogeneous ripeness, with no compromise. The Fugue de Nénin 2020 is a very suave Pomerol, in which the fruity roundness is enhanced by a very nice straight forward freshness. A very nice balance based on lusciousness.
