Parker found it to be "gorgeous full-bodied, with great freshness and acidity." Tanzer described it as "wonderfully balanced for a chardonnay of its impressive size." Aromas of stone fruits, spicy orange rind, and honey are supported by vibrant acidity and remarkable minerality. Bottled in July after 22 months in barrel, it shows a wonderful precocity, which would urge you to open your first bottle. 1,520 cases produced.
