TERROIR
This wine is a Burgundy appellation produced inthe Côte Chalonnaise. It is made with a selection of our best grapes produced on our Domaine in Mercurey, 24 hectares grown organically since 2008. The soils are clayey marl and limestone.
GRAPE VARIETY
100% Pinot Noir
WINEMAKING
Manual harvest with grape sorting before the vinification and destemming of 50% of the grapes. Traditional winemaking and maturation in oak barrels for 14 months.
WINE TASTING
Lively ruby red color, very clear and brilliant. Delicate aromas of cherry and strawberry, with a touch of praline. In the mouth, very feminine and elegant, good structure and fine tannins.
FOOD PAIRING
Pairs especially well with roasted red meats, grilled poultries, vegetable gratins. Also a good match with mild and strong flavored cheeses.
