Mare Santo Rose

Our grapes ripen on high-quality soil on the green hills of Goriška Brda in a small private winery with heritage and tradition where warm Mediterranean air and cold Alpine wind mix. They caress and lash the grapes together with an authentic technique and recipe which is how it acquires its characteristic flavor.

“The bottles, which are submerged at a depth of 20 meters, constantly have the same external pressure, which is also higher than in the basement this is why the bubbles in the wine become smaller, finer. In addition, there is no oxygen in the water, so the maturation of the wine is slower and calmer. Such conditions create a sparkling wine, which is fresher, more delicate and elegant in flavour. It can be offered as an aperitif and it is an exceptional companion of all fish dishes, after all it lived in the sea.”
