Ruby red in colour with bright violet shimmer. On the nose it is strongly intense, rich and elegant, with red and black berries, plums, sweet spices, brushwood and Mediterranean scrub. On the palate it is a big flavor with a sweet and fat start followed by a dense and long tannins. Fruity, long and spiced aftertaste.

In an ancient land register map, Masseria Li Veli’s landed property is recorded by the agronomist Pasquale Calabrese on April 21st 1895. He lists names and sizes, assigning an economic value to each plot. The “Montecoco”, registered under the code “BC7”, was then as it is today, one of the best vineyards of the whole estate.
