This dark, compact red boasts cassis, blackberry reduction, cedar and grilled herb notes on a full frame, with assertive woody tannins marking the spicy finish. This is a racy and beautiful red with spices, dark fruits and a smoky, light vanilla undertone. It's full-bodied but super polished. Very fine tannins. Flavors go on for minutes. A beauty now but much better in 2015 when the tannins soften.
