Oxford Landing Shiraz
พันธุ์องุ่นผสม (Grape Blended)
Wyndham Hill Smith found Oxford Landing in 1958 on the banks of the River Murray, South Australia. The winery has matured into one of Australia's most innovative viticultural estates, delivering flavours that reflects the unique vineyard terroir. Oxford Landing vineyard near the South Australian town of Waikerie is an idyllic place, distinguished by clear blue skies, rich red soil and sunshine the perfect environment for growing grapes. The grapes are from select fruit parcels on the Oxford Landing block. Warm fermentation allows the best extraction of fruit flavours and tannins for this style of wine. This is a bright and friendly wine that is also very affordable...light to medium bodied, with vibrant raspberry fruit flavours, nice, fresh acidity and soft tannins.." Toni Paterson MW, December 2007.
A lovely dark purple in colour with red hues. There are lifted plums, subtle vanilla and spice aromas with the floral hint of violets. The generous silky palate has blackberry and plum fruit flavours, complimented by soft, supple tannins with hints of cherry, chocolate and spice. Bright fruit flavours linger during the long succulent finish.
