Poggio Al Lupo Cabernet Sauvignon

Poggio al Lupo is a wine that expresses the Maremma territory and its great oenological potential, which has immediately won considerable recognition. Endowed with persuasive personality, this Cabernet Sauvignon blends territorial and varietal character with extreme elegance.

It was produced for the first time in 2003 and takes its name from the homonymous winery located in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma. An area of Etruscan settlements in the past, it is now one of the most vocated for wine production. A vineyard that dominates a breathtaking panorama: Giglio Island in front and Talamone to the side. It is located at 120 meters above sea level, in a particular hillside characterized by red soils rich in skeleton and clay, where our Cabernet find its perfect habitat. In fact, these variety gives us an extremely identifiable wine: high amount of polyphenolic substances, good alcoholic presence and an important acidity give it structure, complexity and longevity.
