Tenuta Sette Ponti Oreno

97 points in James Suckling - "Currant, flower and orange-blossom aromas follow through to a full body with fine, creamy tannins and a long, persistent finish. Shows finesse and precision. Cherry and orange-peel notes at the end. The flavors go on and on."
94 points in Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - The flagship wine from Tenuta Sette Ponti is the 2018 Oreno, a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. This is a dark, concentrated and full-bodied expression that exudes black fruit and blackberry with spicy tobacco and savory spice. Despite the Bordeaux blend in its DNA, the wine is fully Tuscan in character and spirit, with the softness and fullness that comes from fruit cultivated under the golden sunshine of Central Italy."
93 points in Wine Spectator - "There is depth and polish here, featuring black cherry, plum, blackberry, wild herb, spice and coffee bean aromas and flavors. It's balanced, with the finish defined by the vibrant acidity and a fine length. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot."

Tenuta Sette Ponti Oreno
Oreno, named after the river that runs through the property, is the flagship of Tenuta Sette Ponti. It is a wine of international renown, as evidenced by the American magazine Wine Spectator, which more than once has placed Oreno among the best wines of the annual Top 100 Wines, along with Wine Advocate by Robert Parker ratings.
It is characterized by having a "family tree" of total respect: created by a carefully studied blend of Merlot (from which it receives class and fineness), Cabernet Sauvignon (from which inherits strength and a full-body). Finally, there is an elegant touch of Petit Verdot.
