Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame Rose
In 2022, Veuve Clicquot reveals this 9th edition of La Grande Dame Rosé, an exceptional and rare wine.
In 1818, Madame Clicquot crafted the first known "rosé d'assemblage" champagne by blending some of her Bouzy red wines with her white wines. La Grande Dame Rosé respects her vision with 90% of Pinot Noir coming from the historic Grands Crus of the terroir as well as a red wine added to the blend from a single parcel: the Parcelle 'Clos Colin' located in Bouzy, a Grand Cru terroir.

Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame Rosé is a high-end champagne produced by the prestigious French winery Veuve Clicquot, located in the Champagne region.
It is full-bodied and smooth, then becomes refined with fresh aromas. The Pinot Noir's generosity resonates beautifully after a slow and long aging in the Veuve Clicquot cellars. The wine shows powerful notes of red fruits (raspberry and strawberry), combined with citrus notes (blood orange, grapefruit), and finally holds a perfect balance between subtle and spicy with notes of red berries, rooibos tea and fine leather.
Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame Rosé is an ideal champagne for special occasions and for pairing with haute cuisine dishes, such as seafood, poultry and red meats.
The Veuve Clicquot winery is recognized worldwide for the exceptional quality of its champagnes and La Grande Dame Rosé is one of its most exclusive labels. This champagne has been highly rated by wine critics and has received numerous awards and recognitions, including a 95-point rating by Wine Spectator magazine. In addition, its name pays tribute to the winery's founder, Madame Clicquot, who was one of the first female entrepreneurs in the world of wine in France.
