From a vintage that Beni di Batasiolo has interpreted very nicely, the 2009 Barolo Cerequio opens to a dark garnet color with concentrated color saturation. The bouquet revs up to a well-balanced presentation of dark berry, spice, tar, balsam herb and cola. There is a touch of black truffle or moist earth as well.
