All three varietals are then blended together and fermented part in steel part in barrique. This results is a classic white wine vinification with a short maceration. This wine pairs well with the dishes of the haute cuisine, oven-roasted fish or velvety sauces, risottos with truffles, medium aged cheeses, shrimp and “toc in braide” (polenta made with milk and melted cheese sauce covering) topped with foie gras.

Its name comes from the “broili”, the small vegetable gardens grown next to the old Friulian homes. This is a piece of land that was often planted with grapevines in order to provide wine for the family’s consumption.
The Friulano (50%) and Chardonnay (30%) grapes are partially dried in the drying lofts by means of ventilated air, with a humidity level close to zero and at a temperature of 12 ° C to concentrate the juices. The Sauvignon grapes (20%), are harvested a few days early and not dried.
