Site : the grapes originate from Burgundy, mainly Hautes Côtes de Beaune, Hautes Côtes de Nuits and Côte Châlonnaise.
Histoire & tradition : the main grapes of Burgundy are Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, but an ancient varietal called Aligot or Aligoté is preserved in a few parcels and cultivated with passion and care.
Soil : clay and limestone. The Aligoté grape is often planted in the same vineyards as Chardonnay (in the old days, it was not rare to have several varietals planted together).
