Site: between Moulin-à-Vent and Chiroubles, Fleurie is certainly one of the most celebrated of the ten Crus of Beaujolais; the vineyard is planted on a slope below the main ridge of hills and is oriented south-east, north-west.
History & Tradition: at the foot of the Chapel of the Black Virgin. The "Gobelet" pruning probably goes back to the Greek or Roman period.
Soil: pink granite, thin and acidic.
