Winemaking
Aged about one year in French (62%) and American (37%) oak for a wine that is strong and round, roughly 14% of which is new. Artisan winemaking techniques such as pre-fermentation, cold soaking on the skins, saignée method and gentle pumpovers were used to enhance and simultaneously soften the tannins, deepen the color, and intensify the flavors.
