Mount Riley's Estate Range (pictured right) is great quality and value. Each wine in this range is fresh with pure, vibrant fruit flavours and aromas.
The grapes that make up this wine were grown in Mount Riley's premium 17 Valley Vineyard in the south of the Marlborough's Wairau Valley. This site is exposed to intense sunshine and the warm North Westerly winds pool in this small valley creating a veritable 'heat trap'.The fruit was harvested at extremely low yields and was hand-picked. The fermentation was carried out in small parcels using indigenous yeasts then the wine was aged for 15 months in predominantly French oak barriques.
