An Australian classic. It’s one of Australia’s most loved reds for a reason, super reliable and delicious with the unmistakable Barossa character.
Winemaking
The fruit is harvested during the warmth of the day, brought to the winery, immediately crushed into stainless steel fermenters and inoculated with a neutral yeast strain. Maturation occurs in a combination of new, one, two and three year old French and American oak barrels for 12-16 months before blending and bottling.
Food Matching
A versatile wine for classic standbys such as grilled lamb chops done on the BBQ, slow cooked Osso Bucco, wintry stews or your own special Bolognaise sauce on your pasta of choice. Match it with your preferred 'Sunday Roast' - veggie, chicken, pork, beef or lamb.
