Product Description
Bright ruby-red. Fresh and energetic on the nose, displaying fresh raspberry and cherry flavors and a zesty mineral overtone. In a lithe, precise style with good focus to its bitter cherry and red berry flavors. A spine of juicy acidity lifts the fruit and carries it through a long, seamless finish that leaves a subtle white pepper note behind...

Product details
Jean-Paul Brun, the Gamay demigod, for tapping this unique terroir (primarily limestone, as opposed to the granite underlying most Beaujolais crus), and for giving us an unusual and tantalizing substitute for what is, unfortunately, a miniscule forthcoming vintage for Pinot Noir in Burgundy. This is a breathtakingly pure, layered, savory, sous-bois-ish little wine that utterly delights.
