The season was characterized by a cold spring, but slightly higher temperatures than the average of the previous season. Rainfall were 30% lower in relation to the 2012-2013 season and appeared earlier, recording a 50% of the annual precipitation in May, and then move to a winter with low rainfall and moderate temperatures. Finally, the summer was fresh and very similar to the previous year. Clusters and grains were selected and brought into the tanks gravitationally

CALICANTO
Since the first vintage of Calicanto in 2007, this red blend from the Andetelmo Estate has offered a fresh and fruity character with spicy notes and silky, polished tannins.
Calicanto is named after the first bridge built over the Mapocho River in Santiago, constructed between 1767 and 1782. The bridge later incorporated stalls for shops and became one of the earliest locations for the Chilean wine trade. Calicanto therefore symbolizes the bridge between tradition and modernity and our aim to craft wines that express the soul of the Chilean terroir through the finest quality of wines made from French varieties.
