Domaine Albert Mann Riesling Grand Cru Schlossberg L'Epicentre

Vivid gold-tinged yellow. The aromatic nose combines mango, peach, white flowers, lime and crushed stone. The wine is rich, spicy and broad in the mouth, but with nicely focused mineral and tropical fruit flavors. Drinking it is much like sucking on wet stones. It's especially impressive on the palate, where it lasts and lasts with beautifully harmonious acidity. A wine of outstanding acid/sugar balance, not unlike some great Mosel late-harvest Rieslings. In fact, the "Epicentre" moniker refers to a wine made with a blend of late-harvest grapes (A mix of both SGN and VT level) and normally harvested grapes for maximum refinement and balance.
