This wine is superb. A complex perfume of intense grass and a fragrant herbaceousness greets you as part of a bouquet which is as open as it is complex and elegant. In the mouth the varietal intensity lessens a little with a wine that is clean, fresh and smooth. Appearing to slightly lack complexity after the nose, there are rounded lime and tropical fruits such as guavas and papayas that mould smoothly into a grassy and rounded finish. Traditional Sauvignon acidity (although not too much) cleanses the palate and leaves the impression of a wine that is perfectly balanced if not exuberant in the style of some New World Sauvignon Blanc offerings.
