Origin :
San Carlos, Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina. Hand-harvested and selected grapes, from own low-yielding vineyards, from 10 to 15 March each year.
Winemaking :
In steel tanks with controlled temperature, 15 days, at 16°C. 60% malolactic fermentation (one month with sur lie method). 60% of the wine was aged in French oak (50% new) during 9 months and 3 months in bottle.
Tasting notes : Intense greenish yellow color. Complex nose, with soft fruity aromas like pineapple, white peach and light vanilla hints from its barrel fermentation. A slight mineral aroma can also be detected. It has an important structure in the mouth, with a harmonious and elegant ending.
Serving suggestions : Enjoy with seafood, blue cheeses and Thai food. Serve at 8°-10°C. Drink now or keep 5 years.
