FEATURES :
Area of production: Just outside the Montalcino area, the Poggio del Sasso vineyards produce grapes of excellent quality.
Grapes: 100% Sangiovese
Vinification: Maceration on the skins takes place during fermentation and lasts approximately 8-10 days, together with frequent, gentle pumping over. Temperature control (28-30°C) during fermentation encourages good colour and supple tannins.
Ageing: Short time (2-3 months) in second year usage french barriques.
